Numerous fellows contributed to the formation and are contributing to the implementation of the Liberia Poverty Reduction Strategy across various sectors. The Liberia Fellows’ are assigned for one year or more in Liberia as “special assistants” to senior Liberian government officials, primarily cabinet officials, in a wide range of areas and activities. The Program aims to make a small but vital contribution to partially filling Liberia’s capacity gap at the sub-ministerial level and improving the productivity of ministers and other senior officials in Liberia.
